If you’re building a new home, we strongly recommend staged inspections which are three main inspections performed at specific times during specific phases of construction. These inspections are designed to see if your home is being built in compliance with current building codes.
Staged construction inspections are an excellent way to prevent or catch many construction problems while they are still small problems. If you wait to inspect the home after concealed areas are covered up, it is much more difficult to correct any issues as well as much more expensive. Every client who has done staged inspections on new construction or renovation construction was VERY glad they did!
